What is Empower?

“give (someone) the authority or power to do something. Make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights.”

As I read what empower means, I was in awe. I had to step back for a sec and take all of this in. God was going to use me to help people, Ohhh   k.

My twists and turns, bumps and bruises were all part of qualifying me to be unqualified in the world’s system. But, that qualified me in God’s system to help the unqualified to be used just as they are. So God will qualify the unqualified to help empower others with a message of hope, redemption and freedom.

The logo has a woman in the center who is me. I empower women by helping them grow and mature in the different cycles of life.  A tree just like a woman begins as a seed(conception), to sprout(birth),

to seedling(infancy), to juvenile(sapling), to adult(mature), to elderly(decline), to death (snag/rotting log). Like a tree has many cycles of life, so do we as women.

There are a few things we need to grow, flourish and be used to help others.

-Trees planted in rich mineral dense soil have roots that go down deep and create a firm foundation for the tree. The strong root system that is produced helps the tree to withstand almost any condition. Just like a tree, we need to be planted in rich mineral dense soil. This growth occurs as we are planted in a church where we are challenged to renew our mind. As our roots go down deep in the word of God, this helps us in seasons of drought or extreme conditions to continue to stand, not give up or quit..

-Water is essential for a tree to grow. As women we need the proper nutrients to grow and mature. Proper nutrients are watering ourselves with the word of God, to gain renewed strength to withstand all types of weather conditions aka trials, tribulations or distractions.

-We need to surround ourselves with like minded individuals, who are sunshine to us. Just like we need sunlight to give us Vitamin D. Trees convert light, oxygen and water into energy from the sunlight. Being around like minded women creates a synergy that will help you grow, bloom and produce seed to help other women. Psalms 1:3, best describes this process…That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers” (Psalm 1:3). This cycle will start over and continue so that we each may reach another woman to join us to start “LIvin The MPowered Life!”
